Spectinomycin HCL is produced by Streptomyces. It is an aminoglycoside rapid bactericidal antibiotic composed of neutral sugars and a glycosidic bond of aminocyclic alcohol. It is also known as spectinomycin. It was discovered by Americans such as ChemicalbookMason in 1961. It is mainly used in the clinical treatment of livestock and veterinary medicine to treat diseases caused by sensitive bacterial infections such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma.

Pharmacokinetics
The absorption of Spectinomycin HCL is rapid by intramuscular injection, and the blood drug concentration in healthy animals can reach its peak after 1 hour of intramuscular injection. By 6 hours, the blood drug concentration in the body still remains above the effective antibacterial concentration, at a relatively high level of effective action. The level of blood drug concentration increases with the increase of dosage. Daguanmycin is mainly excreted through the kidneys, and usually after 6 hours, its excretion accounts for about 45% of the total dosage administered.
Mechanism of action

Spectinomycin Sulphate is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with strong inhibitory ability against both Gram positive and negative bacteria. It is effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus hemolyticus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Pneumococcus pneumoniae, as well as Mycoplasma microplasma and some isolated bacteria.
