Function and Use:Doramectin is used to treat parasitic diseases such as nematodes and mites in livestock. It is a new type of macrolide antiparasitic drug that has efficient insecticidal effects on nematodes, insects, and mites.

Indications:Doramectin has a good effect on pig gastrointestinal nematodes. According to reports, pigs were injected intramuscularly at a dose of 0.3 mg/kg body weight. Artificial and natural infection cases showed significantly higher weight gain than the control group at 7, 14, and 2l days after administration (P<0.001 for pigs); Compared with the control group, the parasite was 100% expelled and no side effects occurred.
In the treatment of pig scabies mites, good results have been achieved from lactating piglets to sows. After artificial infection with scabies mites, the drug was administered by intramuscular injection at a rate of 0.3 mg/kg body weight. After a 4-week trial, the results showed that the elimination effect on skin inflammation, injury, and inter pig parasite infection was very significant (P<0.05). In the treatment of renal worms in pregnant sows, a one-time injection of 0.3 mg/kg was administered to the neck. On the 56th and 57th day of testing, the detection rate of urine worm eggs was 0 and the expulsion rate was 100%, while the control group had 3762 eggs per milliliter of urine. It has the same effect on pig lung worms, pig lice, etc.
